Located in Cambridge, Ontario, Fairview Seniors Community is a continuing-care retirement community providing a Health & Wellness Centre, Independent Living, and Long-Term Care.

Description
Volunteers will be paired with an older adult participant who needs assistance completing their exercises in our warm water therapy pool. A friendly personality and ability to gently guide and encourage will be helpful in this position. Volunteers will also receive the healing benefits of the warm water pool along with light physical activity.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Training will be provided by pool staff on exercises required for each individual and there is always a lifeguard on duty.
Working Conditions: Light physical capability and a definite comfort in the water is required.
Transportation: On a bus route
