Description
The YMCA of Three Rivers Immigrant Services Mentorship Program connects newcomer professionals with community mentors who can help them prepare for and successfully enter the Canadian job market in their professional field.
Mentors are community volunteers who are employed and connected within their professional field and have a minimum of 3 years of experience. All professional fields are welcome, and mentors share their knowledge, experience, and professional connections to support newcomer professionals.
The program is currently seeking mentors in the following fields:
- Chemical Engineering
- Microbiology
- Biochemistry
- Radiology
- Law
- Medicine
- Physics
- Cardiology
- Graphic Design
- Publishing
- Library Science
- Journalism
- Nutrition
- Digital Marketing
- Environmental Engineering
- Robotics
- Veterinary Medicine
- Embedded Systems Engineering

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Training and orientation will be provided to prepare you for your mentorship role. More details will be provided after you apply.
Working Conditions: This is a flexible mentorship role that may involve virtual and/or in-person meetings, depending on the needs and preferences of the mentor and mentee.
